The picture is inspired by the movie “Black Swan”. In the film, Nina Sayers, an ambitious ballerina, is chosen for the leading role in a new production of “Swan Lake”. She is the perfect embodiment of the delicate and innocent white swan princess. But the role demands more: she must also embody the dark and seductive side of the black swan. As Nina tries to unite these two extreme personalities, she becomes embroiled in an increasingly intense inner conflict. The clear distinction between good and evil becomes blurred and Nina begins to lose herself. White stands for purity and innocence, while black stands for evil, the unknown and the depths of the soul. Nina's increasing paranoia, her hallucinations and her loss of self-confidence point to intensive alcohol consumption.
