Every year during the Lantern Festival, I come here to participate in a religious ceremony trip. This is a very special ceremony in Taitung, Taiwan. It is generally believed that the Lord of Handan is the God of Wealth. A person will be selected to play the role of Lord Handan. The man was wearing only a pair of red shorts and his face was covered with a towel. He held a branch in his hand to protect himself. Then he was put on a sedan chair and firecrackers were thrown at his naked body.
