"Zero Gravity” is self-portrait, non-composited levitation photography, symbolizing the struggles of humanity; constantly trying overcome the the vicissitudes of life. In life, there are unavoidable "constraints" and "limits" such as gravity. For example, some people experience social constraints or mental or physical limitations. There are people who, through no fault of their own, are not blessed with career success, and there are yearning but childless couples. Others face persistent and unreconciled relationships within their circles of loved ones. Furthermore, Some undergo searing developments, such as illness, natural disasters. and crime, that cut suddenly into their life’s status quo. Our challenge in life is to cultivate a sense of satisfaction amidst various limitations and opportunities. We must do our best within the environment and circumstances we find ourselves in, while at the same time pushing our limits. This is a test for everyone. No matter the scale or method, if we can achieve even a small amount of this, we may be able to see an indescribable new world. The “Levitator” who is freed from the “constraints” of gravity and fly around freely symbolize the way we continue to strive despite suffering during our journey through life. To achieve this symbolism, I captured a moment when the subject was desperately trying to maintain a naturally floating posture while jumping, without relying on any compositing technology or generative AI. Discover a world of weightlessness that innocent young children can only dream of.
