The picture shows the goddess Freya from Norse mythology. For me Freya embodies the strong woman, the goddess of love and magic, at the same time also the goddess of war and leader of the Valkyries. All of these properties come together in the picture, carried by the storm of the raging sea. Freya in the centre, the fate of those who sail around the sea in her hands (here based on the goddesses of fate).
