The main goal for going on this hike was capturing the beauty of NY State's fall foliage. The best way to do this is visiting the Adirondacks, especially for a sunrise. I had no idea that there was going to be a snow dusting overnight. Climbing at 2 AM, it was clear that this might be special. I sat in the tower for nearly an hour as I waited for the fog to dissipate. When the sun broke through, this was what I witnessed.
