Capturing South African open water swimmer Herman Van Der Westhuizen in the fabulously clear waters of Hawaii to record his successful 15 hour attempt to swim from Molokai to Oahu as part of the Oceans Seven swimming challenge. Working with Herman I wanted to convey the power of his stroke combined with the solitude of these long distance open water swimming events.
