Golden Girls

Back in August, I did my first experiment with gold. Clara, a talented young Rhythmic Gymnast, was so good in all parts, that the pictures had much success on IG But The gold part was not as good as I expected, the color was good, but not enough reflection … So I searched and found this other gold paint Not willing to always have again one dancer to perform on its own, I wanted this to create a living painting with many arms and legs, throwed and entangled in any possible way and direction. So I invited two talented ballerina’s. The painting was amazing … you directly saw it would give this so nice shiny reflection as with real gold. Then need to find the best lightning to become real golden statues. Both my models, Noor and Roos (students at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp ) performed so well, how they entangled and searched aesthetic positions together !!! When I looked at the result my ballerina’s became Golden Statues for real !!!
