This image aimed to capture the action at the start of the 2021 Jersey Triathlon. After a year where the athletes were unable to compete due to covid this explosion of human power was a release of pent up adrenaline that the athletes had been keeping contained for such a long period of time and finally able to release it all in the swim start of the triathlon. Working for the event organisers and sponsors I wanted to capture this important moment in the lives of these athletes as well as showcasing the event though eye catching imagery for the client
