These photos are a 10 year journey to explore light, dark, and the human body. There is a distinctive quality about the simple mixture of light and the human figure in its most detailed form. The shadow is one of the most significant aspects of my images. How the light passes over the body, how shadows are made, and what lies beneath are all the details that interest me. We tend to overlook these concepts when looking at a whole figure. Through my project I continue to explore the details that emerge when light is mixed with the human form
