This was part of personal project i had been wanting to shoot for a long time. I know the athlete through other shoots I had worked with her on and I follow the other sports she participates in. It was when she put up some swimming shots, I sought the chance to capture her in and around the pool. She is not actually allowed to compete with her prosthetic limb, but she can use it in the water and these were some unique images I really wanted to get in my folio.
