Photographing York University subway station was about translating movement into stillness. The sweeping rooflines and expansive glass surfaces create a sense of openness, blurring the boundary between structure and sky. What drew me most was the way light transforms the space- shadows stretching, softening and shifting throughout the day, making the architecture feel alive. More than a passage for commuters, this station elevates everyday transit into an experience of space, light and form. Through this photograph, I sought to capture not just the physical structure, but the fleeting qualities that make it resonate beyond function.
